Chris, just curious what size evap you guys run, and how many taps and syrup do you typically do?

Jim,
I have a 3x10 same side with a blower. I also have a digital comand center/temperature control panel that I put together where I monitor temperature in the flure pan and all four passes of my syryp pan. This way I can tell when I'm making syrup in the middle and helps me avoid a melt down like I have had in the past. I plan on adding stack temp this year if I have time. I like working with digital controlers and plan on offering my own brand of auto drawoff system and a evap with temperature monitoring capabilitys for syrup nuts like me maybe next year after my Acc-u-cup project stabalizes. I have about 600 taps mabye more if I could get my but in gear and start running some more tubing. I hope to get to about 800- 1000 someday after I build a new sugar house like Race has.

Chris,

It would be fun to see some of your setup if you would send Jim some pics to post on his website. I hope that is not asking for too much!

Brandon,
I will try to do that in the next couple of weeks.

Sounds like a great setup Chris, I too am a controls nut, I do digital controls in HVAC, I too plan on playing around with temp monitors, but no intention of getting into it as much as you, that would be cool if you could create a new type of drawoff system ... the field seems pretty narrow right now , maybe it needs some fresh stuff from the Maple Guys :) :)

I would love to put up some pics for sure

Chris,

The new website is nice and very easy to find your way around.

Good luck and hopefully business will continue to grow!

Brandon,
Thanks it has been a long road to get that up and running the way it is. We should have more products and pictures shortly.
