I have a suggestion.
Some questions that are asked on the trader may be answered by reading technical research papers. It would be easier for a person if they could look directly at the paper or the link to it. You could list these as stickies under the Maple resources on the web section. It could look something like this:
Adding forced air to you arch - http://www.uvm.edu/~pmrc/Combustion.pdf
or a file that someone could click on to open could follow the description.
These could only be posted by the moderator. I have a few files and links I could forward. After the initial posting of what we have available, there would probably only be a couple a year to add.
Comments?

I like that idea because when you use the search you get everything with those key words separated out. air...forced...arch all with different threads attached.
could you have separate search for that section too so you don't bring up all of the threads too???
sounds like a good idea!!!

I'd rather have the information on this site. I do not want to discuss my reasons why.
Think about it. If you tell a person there's information at University of Vermont or Cornell, try find it. Many people don't know to find Proctor Maple Research or Ulhiem Forest (sp?).
What do you say Jim and Clan?

Gary,
I think you are right that direct links to various articles and publications would be helpful. My vote is to add such an area. I see no problem with duplicating what other sites have. My vote is Yea!

Gary, in answer to your question, yes you should be able to do that in the resource area, just start a thread on a particular subject, add the links and make it a sticky, if you cant stick it, I will do that for you.
it's a great Idea and nice to see members coming up with ways to improve the site... we are always open to new suggestions or ideas.

Jim,
Thanks for the encouragement. I have no problem posting all the information that I have. One thing I think that would be good is to be "read only". That way members do not post comments on the thread. It would be very clean and easy for an interested person to view.
I have been on Acer Center's (Quebec) before. Everything is in French. I bet there's alot of good research papers there. We may have to enlist KenWP to translate when he gets done with school:)
