Have any mapletrader members been to an Open House hosted by a manufacturer?

For those that have attended, I'm curious to know what the "special discounts" are that they talk about. Can one expect to get a good deal on a NOS 2x6 or 2x8?

Sometimes they have NOS or something they used as a demo unit (usually a 2 x 6).

The best time to get something new is when Leader has their open house (in April?). The usually offer 10% discount for ordering early and taking delivery in the fall. Beware...sometimes they only do 5% on smaller evaporators. I.E. Bradley got me all primed up one year and said it would be 10%, so I went to place my order and it was only 5%.

So that's why I have a D&G.
